Why Prelock
Blueberry Farm Freshly Roasted Coffees?
Freshness makes all the
difference in the world. Our
customers know that our blueberries are superior because you pick them fresh and
at the peak of their flavor. Our
coffee is superior for the same reason -- you drink it while it is freshly
roasted and the flavor is at its peak. Most
coffee purchased at the grocery story or coffee shop was roasted several weeks
and even months previously.
We roast single origin
coffees each to their own individual peak of flavor but never to the point of
tasting charred or scorched. Our
coffees are always smooth and never bitter.
Although you can feel free to create blends to your own taste, we do not
blend them so you can appreciate the unique characteristics of each coffee.
We are
offering the following 4 varieties of coffee:
Columbian -- a rich
coffee with chocolate cherry almond tones.
Costa Rican -- our boldest coffee with bittersweet chocolate nuances
Brazilian
Decaf -- lots
of body, this coffee has everything going for it without the caffeine
Currently
we offer only whole bean but it is available in either ˝ pound ($6 each) or 1 pound ($12 each) bags.
We plan to roast every 2
weeks on the weekends and the coffee will be shipped on Monday mornings.
For those in the
For the freshest flavor,
we would encourage you to purchase only what you would use in a 2-4 week period.
If you are interested in
purchasing some of our coffees, please go to the Order
Form and print the
form. Fill out the form, enclose a
check for the amount listed and mail to the address on the form.
If you are planning to pick up your coffee, write “Pick up” in the
shipping and handling box. Checks
must be received by the Wednesday prior to the roasting date or they will be
added to the next roast date schedule.
During Blueberry Season (July) coffee is available only at the farm during our regular hours.
