Picking in
the Field
One of our cheerful helpers will give you a lined bucket and direct you
to whatever field we are picking in at that time.
This is what you'll see on the way to a row.
Everyone has a great time while they pick listening to the
birds, eating berries,
and
talking while hearing the dull "plop, plop" of berries going into the
buckets.
Come early -- the fields fill up quickly!
Here's how full of berries an average row is.
And this is what an average bush looks like. The first week we're open,
most folks can get a bucketful
of berries in about an hour and only have to
pick 4 or 5 bushes.
Look at all those berries! ! !
Generally, in the evenings we pick the front field. It fills up quickly,
too.
